When I’m playing an online game, I often kicked for my “Ping being too high”. How do I fix this?
I was playing Battlefield Heroes online and several times I got kicked for having a ping that is too high. What does this mean and how can I fix this? The game is working perfectly and there is no lag.
the higher your ping is, the worse your connection. sometimes it seems like everything is fine, but to other players, you’re usually “teleporting” all over the place, making it impossible to hit you. you also slow down the entire server with high ping.
the only thing you can do is stop all other internet activity while playing, or get a better connection. if you are playing via wireless, use an ethernet cable. try joining a server that’s closer to you as well. it’ll cut down on your ping. by closer i mean one that’s around your region.
